SCTC Wireless Handset Replacement Program

For only $5.50 a month, you can insure your SCTC Wireless handset from theft and damage. There is no limit on value and only a $25.00 deductible!! If your handset is stolen, a police report must be provided. If the handset is accidentally damaged, then just bring us the phone and we'll give you a loaner handset while your replacement is being processed. The replacement program does not cover handsets that are lost.* Coverage will begin 30 days after you subscribe to the service.

In the Event of a Theft:

• Immediately contact a law enforcement official and request a copy of the case number and police report in the event of theft or vandalism.
• Call a SCTC customer service representative to report a theft within 30 days of the documented theft.
• Provide the name and type of the wireless telephone and details of the incident.
• Upon receipt of police report, SCTC Wireless will provide a replacement telephone of like kind.
• No cash reimbursements will be paid.

If Your Phone is Damaged:

• SCTC will provide a replacement or loaner handset
• SCTC will send the phone to the manufacturer or authorized repair center for estimate or diagnosis
• SCTC will file claim and after claim is process/accepted by the insurance company, SCTC will then present to you a replacement phone
